Privacy Policy

This Privacy Notice (hereinafter the “Notice”) describes how RGNT Electric AB (reg. no. 559221-5759) (hereinafter “RGNT”, “we”, “us”, “our”) processes your personal data when you purchase or use one of our vehicles, use our app, visit our website or otherwise interact with us.

In this Notice you will learn about the personal data we collect, how we use it, your rights, and the measures we take to keep it safe. We will always make sure that your personal data are processed and protected in accordance with applicable legislation. If you have any questions, or want any part of this Notice explained, feel free to contact us through one of the communication channels listed below.

How we use your personal data

If you register for a test drive

When you register for a test drive on our website, we collect personal data that is necessary to administer and perform your test drive. The personal data collected during the test drive may later be used to send you marketing related material. You may always opt-out from receiving such communication.

Our processing is necessary to take steps prior to enter into or fulfill a contract with you. If you do not provide the information, you will not be able to book a test drive.

Processing for marketing purposes is based on our legitimate interest to follow up on the test drive and to market our products. Please contact us if you want to learn more about how we have balanced our interests against yours.

We keep your personal data for one (1) year after you have completed the test drive.

If you purchase one of our vehicles

Administer and deliver your order

When you place an order for one of our vehicles, we collect personal data about you to administer, confirm, prepare and deliver your order. If you do not provide us with the data, we will not be able to complete or deliver your order.

Administer payments

To collect payment, we process your personal data. In addition, if you chose to pay your order using a credit card, your payment data will be forwarded to our payment service supplier, Stripe. Stripe uses a cookie to remember who you are and enables the website to process payments without storing any credit card information on its own servers. It also remembers you so you don’t have to fill in all details every time you make a purchase on our site – provided that you have chosen to save your payment data.

The processing of your personal data is necessary to fulfil our agreement (and complete your order). However, please note that your credit card data is not accessible for either us or Stripe.

The cookie stores your data for (1) year or for a shorter period if you change your cookie settings, whichever comes first.

Manage charge backs and reclamations

If you want to complain and return the vehicle to us or have a charge-back, we will process personal data about you, your order and the vehicle. We do this to fulfil our agreement with you (and correct any errors or mistakes).

We keep data about a reclaim for three (3) years or until the matter is resolved.

Accounting

We save necessary information about you and your order for bookkeeping purposes. The legal basis for the processing is that the processing is necessary to comply with the Swedish Accounting Act.

We keep your data for seven (7) years after the end of the calendar year when the purchase was made.

When you use one of our vehicles

If you are interested in specific information, please indicate it in your request. For example, you can specify if you are interested in a certain type of information (e.g., what contact and identification information we have about you) or if you want information from a certain time period.

Right to have erroneous data corrected

If the data we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. You also have the right to supplement incomplete information with additional information that may be needed for the information to be correct.

Even if you have requested that we restrict our use of your data, we have the right to use it for storage, if we have obtained your consent to use it, to assert or defend legal claims or to protect someone’s rights. We may also use the information for reasons relating to an important public interest.

We will let you know when the restriction expires.
