Bejing, spring 2017
Just off the flight and at an extremely busy downtown Beijing downtown traffic crossing, Jonathan Åström experiences a serene silence and tranquillity.
He asked his fellow pedestrians how this busy street could be so silent and was told that any 2-wheeler with traditional combustion engine was deemed unlawful. Then and there Jonathan saw the future of city mobility, and had an idea.
Two years later he founded RGNT Motorcycles with the aim to silence the street in the West. Since then every bike has been built by hand with high-quality materials on the Swedish Westcoast with one thing in mind – style.
Inspired by the greats and redefined for today.
We obviously draw inspiration from the old 60’s and 70’s classic designs from Triumph and Ducati, but with a modern touch and tech that’s not in your face. And while style’s of course hard to define, you know it instantly when you see it.
And that’s why we feel that the new RGNT Street Classic is style redefined.
This is also the mind-set we adopt when we create additional and supplemental products and services within the brand. It needs to have style. Or as we state it:
If it ain’t style, it simply ain’t.
