Who is RGNT Motorcycles, really?

We’re a Swedish electric motorcycle company born in the minds of bike enthusiasts and built by hand on the Swedish West Coast. We make timeless, beautifully crafted electric motorcycles – inspired by the icons of the 60s and 70s, redefined for today’s urban rider.
If it isn’t style, it simply isn’t.

Where are the bikes made?

Every RGNT is hand-built in our workshop in Varberg, Sweden – small batches, real materials, human hands, no shortcuts.

How do I book a test ride?

Yes!

Are RGNT bikes manual or automatic?

Automatic.
Just twist and go. Silent torque does the rest.

How fast are we talking?

Very.
Both the Street Classic and the Turbo are among the fastest-accelerating A1-class motorcycles, reaching 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds

What about torque?

Up to 540 Nm depending on model. Translation: effortless city acceleration and “wait… is it really that fast?” energy.

What’s the range?

Depending on battery size: 140–180 km real-world range.
This varies with temperature, riding style, and how much you enjoy stoplight sprints. (We don’t judge.)

How do the models differ?

Street Classic – our timeless, refined road icon. Clean geometry, classic lines, Swedish craftsmanship in its purest form.

Turbo – the fun, slightly unhinged sibling. Taller stance, scrambler-inspired wheels, turn-any-alley-into-a-playground energy.

How does the bike handle rain and weather?

Rain: absolutely fine.
Being left outside for months: not our style.

Treat it like a premium piece of Swedish design – keep it sheltered when possible, especially if you have the leather saddle.

What makes the Street Classic different?

It’s the purest expression of RGNT style so far:

  • Sharper lines
  • Clean, modern geometry
  • Hand-built Swedish craftsmanship
  • Silent instant torque
  • Priced to open the door for a new era of urban riders
  • It’s bold, it’s beautiful, and it’s unmistakably ours.
Who is this bike for?

Urban riders who love timeless design but want the ease and silence of electric.
Riders who stand out without being loud.
The “silent minority.”

What’s the battery range?

Choose between 140 km and 180 km (depending on battery option).

How fast is it?

0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds – top of the A1 class. I.e. fast a-f.

How much does it weigh?

162 kg – light, nimble, city-friendly.

Can I customize it?

Yes. Add-ons include:

Is it good for beginners?

Absolutely.
A1 legal, quick but predictable, lightweight, automatic, and incredibly easy to ride.

Does it make noise?

Only the good kind:

  • A quiet electric whirr
  • The sound of you smiling in your helmet
How do I charge an RGNT?

Just plug it into a regular household wall outlet using the included charging cable.
If you can power a toaster, you can charge your RGNT.

Does the bike use a Type 2 connector?

Yes – the connector on the bike is Type 2, and yes you can charge it at most charging spots with a Type 2 connector.

Think of it as:
“Type 2 plug, household charging behaviour.”

Can I charge at public EV chargers?

Sometimes – but not always.
Some public chargers allow “type 2” charging (basically simple, low-power charging).
Others require full communication with the vehicle – which electric motorcycles generally don’t support. The bike is designed primarily for home or garage charging.

So the reality is:

How long does a full charge take?

Typically ~4 hours, depending on the battery option and conditions.

Can I use an extension cable?

Yes – as long as it’s rated for outdoor use and can handle the load.
(Your user manual covers best practices.)

Is charging safe in the rain?

Yes.
Both the charger and the bike’s inlet are designed to handle rain and normal outdoor use.
Just use common sense: keep connectors clean, dry before plugging in, and avoid puddles.

How do I take care of the battery?

Keep it between 20–80% for daily use.
Charge to 100% before long trips.
Avoid extreme temperatures.

What license do I need?

Our bikes are A1-class (up to 11 kW). Requirements vary slightly by country, so check local rules – but generally:

  • A1 license or
  • B-license in most of EU, some with a local A1 add-on (in some countries)
Is insurance expensive?

Usually not.
A1 motorcycles with ABS typically qualify for lower premiums than higher-powered bikes.
